Of course you do. Didn't I say that we both try to influence them, you by shaming and me by enlightening, although I imagine we both have broader toolkits than that. I would try to influence the "acting white" culture as well whenever I got the chance. I find that very sad. (I posted recently about "releasing" books at the center where I swim, which is right next to a high school with a large black population and where the school kids use the snack bar in hopes that they might be read.)

I think the only difference is that you make a moral judgment in situations where I wouldn't. Not because I approve of things you don't approve of, only because I don't operate off a moralistic scheme.
