the essential point, which sadly the journal failed to make....

is the following..

so called wealthy persons living in houses 600k-1.2 million, vacations, cars, etc etc etc etc (per the article)

own nothing more than the cash flow that comes in to service the debt on the above.

between job losses, increased re-fi's etc etc etc...

their debt obligations are now 120% of their after tax incomes.

one more little push, pay cut, job cut whatever, castastrophic illness or circumstance...

boom.

their wealth never existed in the first place

their existence now loses its basis in cash flow

game over.
