Why did the Democrats insist we had to have a public debate on it?
Your attention span is way too short. Throughout the summer Iraq was a debate between Junior and Senior Bush. It was not until Labor day that the ad campaign began. This has been a Republican circle jerk all along with Democrats saying lets debate the issues that are important and urgent, like the deficit, the disappearing pensions, and medical care.
