Re Avg automatic updates. I'm setup up to check everyday also, and often it works great. But if the Grisoft servers are busy, or your connection is unable to reach them for some reason, the update will fail and you are none the wiser. This happened to me recently probably because of high download activity with a new recent virus. But I got the new defs anyway thanks to tc's post that new defs were available. So keep posting the updates, whether you are set for auto update or not. Esteban
