nn, I use my Yahoo e-mail address for contacting everyone but friends. This account attracts around 20 spam per day, most of which Yahoo puts into the bulk mail folder automatically. Two or three slip into the inbox.

I had an MSN account and that was relatively spam free until about a year ago. I cancelled the account and now enjoy spam free e-mail again. For how long I don't know.
I use filters in OE, too.

But I think key is to use one e-mail account for commerce [like business on the internet, registration on web sites, to give to SI members] and another for friends and your stock broker.

BTW, if you have or are willing to open a Yahoo account, you can receive your ATT messages there too.
