Two options readily available to Bush... Invade ASAP, or rely upon heavily intrusive inspections with option to invade, and hopefully create conditions for internal overthrow in either case.

I believe that the latter will prevail unless Saddam does something incredibly stupid to give Bush an excuse to use the invasion option.

So both sides are basically required to go through the motions of the inspection process. And inspections will required 6 months to a year to complete satisfactorily.

And the troops and equipment will be in place to make it nearly impossible for Saddam to say "no" and still avoid an invasion or overt coup.

So let the inspections begin!!
