What I don't quite get is how anyone can look at the Palestinians behavior and decide that terrorism is going to magically vanish if Israel withdraws to the 67 borders.

agreed, because of course it won't. But isn't it equally puzzling how anyone can imagine that the problems will go away without some kind of Israeli withdrawal from the territories and some kind of removal of most of the settlements? And if it is, and stuff like settlement expansion serves no purposes except to enrage one's opponents, confuse the issue, and placate a kooky domestic consitutency which will ultimately have to be reined in, why isn't it obvious that sensible pro-Israel folk should drive home that message to Israel every chance they get?
