The Hadith is not a religious book. The hadith's (means story) There are many hadiths (1000's) and they are recorded sayings and deeds of the prophet. However, only two collections of hadith's are considered as accurate and reliable. Hadith are examples of how muslims should live and follow the ways of the prophets.
