Fine. Explain the relationship of the Prime Mover to the cosmos; explain the role of prudence in Aristotle's ethical philosophy; explain the theory of catharsis; and give me an exposition of the four causes. Then I will believe you have some idea of what you are talking about.......

By the way, in relation to Kant's "outlandish things", what do you think of Aristotle's defense of slavery?; of his view that the sun revolves around the earth?; of his theory of prime matter?; and of his idea that women are naturally inferior to men?.......

Gee, since I am on a roll, how about Ayn Rand? Anyone can take this quiz!

1. True or false: Rand does not believe in free choice, per se, but thinks that free will is limited to the power to focus or not to focus, which affects the kind of mentality one develops?

2. True or false: Rand thinks that values are a personal matter, and no one has a right to condemn others for choosing a different path?

3. True or false: Rand thinks that Beethoven's Ninth Symphony is full of false, bad values?

4. True or false: After the death of Marilyn Monroe, Rand wrote an essay in the Objectivist Newsletter accusing American society of having killed Marilyn?

5. True or false: Rand thinks that the most rational view on the matter of God is agnosticism?

Who said this:"Concepts without intuitions are empty; intuitions without concepts are blind"?

Who said this:"Count no man happy until he is dead"?

Who said this:"One must not expect mathematical certainty in ethics"?

Who said this:"One should treat every rational being not only as a means, but as an end, also"?
