Thanks JohnM, I'm trying to present a point of view that's common in the world, but rare in the U.S. Eventually, the U.S. public opinion will come around - as they become more informed - Americans are far removed from the ME (except for Jewish Americans and Arab Americans), compared to Europeans and others. I only hope we don't continue to pay in blood for this knowledge... the way we paid in blood to gain knowledge of SE Asia where we also decided to carry water for a colonial power (French in Vietnam). Americans (public) often have the best of intentions, but sadly lack information. But that will change. Eventually. I won't be able to participate in the debate here in the immediate future, but I'm glad you think my posts are worthwhile. Carry on - diversity of opinion is sorely needed!
