My main point was to say that neither are as ignorant and illogical about political issues as a lot of the hollywood types are and so Ted's comparison of them to the Hollywood lefties was innacurate.

I actually find Limbaugh, even after about 15 years, to be maybe the sharpest commentator in existence. You have to respect his ability to quickly cut to crux of the caller's point, get it done, and keep the show entertaining. Whether one agrees with him or not, it would be difficult to argue that he is anything other than a genius at what he does. He gets accused of a lot of stuff, but rarely does any of it stick.

I do remember once when he was on TV he made fun of Chelsea Clinton and later denied it was intentional. This is the only time I can remember where I thought he might have been less than honest. I believe he intended to make fun of her, and quickly realized that he had crossed the line.
