I lost on that one too...it was the right call for about 10 minutes...then the market decided to reverse. As I said in the room, it is best to diversify. The ACDO trade lost 4.2%while the SLAB long trade today gained 11%. Net of 7%, plus gains on all our open longs = NICE DAY!

I started trading with $2000...which had to be replaced a few times before I began being profitable. And with $10 commissions on Datek it was nearly impossible, but now with IB it is possible to start that small.

So let's say you start there. Divide by 4, for $500 per position...and take the occasional 5th position using margin (use sparingly!). This would mean:

11 shares ACDO short: -22.35
26 shares SLAB long: +50.00

Net: +27.65 (+1.4%)

Weekly income: $138
Monthly income: $594
ROI per month: +29.7%

Try compounding that quarterly...and soon enough you are trading with the big boys!!
