I say now for the record, before you drift back off into your 'shroom' induced fantasies again, BUSH WON THE ELECTORAL COLLEGE VOTE (AS EVERYONE ON THE PLANET KNOWS) AFTER THE SUPREME COURT DECISION TOSSED THE ELECTORAL VOTES OF FLORIDA INTO HIS LAP. GORE WON THE MOST POPULAR VOTES BY A MARGIN OF 540,540 OVER BUSH - THESE ARE THE CERTIFIED OFFICIAL VOTES. As most school children know, the peculiar relic of the Electoral College is the official determiner of U.S. Presidential elections.... while the actual popular vote, although the determiner of each State's pledged Electors to the College, is a 'beauty contest' beyond that primary roll of producing Electors. More people - on a nation-wide basis - can and have voted for one candidate who, because of the narrowness of the voting differentials and the peculiarities of the Electoral College, did not win the contest. Are you clear now, Tommie... or are you off on another chemically-induced fugue?
