I am not confusing anything. There are varying levels of confidence we may have in the making of statements. My statement from observation may be more objective than a study, especially a study in the social sciences, even if repeatable, if the same biases are going to be repeated. It is probably less objective than the results of a repeatable experiment in the physical sciences, but, on the other hand, may be more so than something in astronomy, for example, where laboratory conditions do not apply. In any event, I rate as objective something that is sufficiently well- grounded in observation and reason as to warrant a very high degree of confidence, and that includes observations that are practically "in the nature of the case".
