Well, I'm trying to go by market history. A few years back when everyone on this thread was jumping up and down about the 'new era', I got pretty bearish (too early though), as history said this would end with a 'bang' <ggg>. Now it's 'doom and gloom' and the end of the financial world. So, with the NASDAQ down pretty close to 80% the other day, history says the odds are now favoring the long 'buy and hold' side if you have enough time. Trading is lots of work and stress, so my thinking is that there will be some nice money made in here with holding for more than the very short term. My greatest fear now is the possibility of a '70's type market, but if you bought at the bottom of the '73-'74 bear you made out pretty well...

Best regards,
John
