Dow below 1000? Kind of like Nikkei. When do you think Nikkei will reach 38,000 again? Many Japanese stocks are at 20 year lows. 5-9 years to the bottom for the Dow, although I think we should be there sooner, because people in the US of A will sober up and deal with post-bubble credit problems more quickly than in Japan. The Japanese are now just starting to deal with the root of the bubble - easy money and credit. A lot more pain to come, but there is light at the end of the tunnel...
