I am still long term bearish, but this rally or the next may last a while, like 2 weeks to 3 months. Also, some stocks are down near levels of cash or at the historical bottom of other evaluation metrics (like cash flow, price to book, etc.) If they don't go BK or shrink revenues considerably, they are real bargins, maybe up 2x or more in two years. Examples would be Ford (F), JP Morgan Chase (JPM), Tampa Electric (TE), and a bunch of others.

A brief report today said that the bond spreads of U.S. Corporates over treasuries were starting to narrow.

We may not be at the bottom, but maybe the slope has changes from a ramp down to more of a glide.
