I borrowed Sterling (from family, no interest :) supposedly to fund my move to the US, lack of employment for the last year till now etc.). I've been expecting Sterling to converge with the Euro for a long time. I am often surprised by its reslience. I wired some USD borrowed here (1.9% pa for six months) back to Australia today to reduce debt there. With retirement assets (bigger than these net assets) I'm even more Australia oriented. I also expected the Aussie to go up and it hasn't very much....

Jay,
is this stuff being covered up or not spoken of by the media as blatantly in your part of the world as it is here?
