The initial murders were bunched closely together in an area where traffic cameras are on many streets. A photo of his truck is probably on one of them.dpwt.com From the map I posted earlier, you can see he moved only one block into D. C. to murder on that night. Currently, he appears to be alternating between Maryland and Virginia counties. A Maryland county would appear to be next. Although the Washington D. C. area is one big populated blob that quickly covered many originally distinct towns and small cities, the names of many of these towns and cities are still distinct and recognizable. For example, he shot in Rockville, Bowie, Fredericksburg, and Manassas. Unless he has a job that requires him to make deliveries over the broad Washington metropolitan area, he has little knowledge of the overall territory he is covering. Most residents of Bowie probably have not been in Fredericksburg for years, if they ever were there. The same can be said for the other towns and cities I listed. I would not be surprised if this murderer uses the Michael's website to identify the stores, uses a paper map to encircle them in his vehicle, and spends a day picking one out one that fits his method. If so, and he does pick a new Maryland county, his next target may be in Howard County (Columbia), Frederick County (Frederick), or Anne Arundel County (Annapolis). It can be argued that Fredericksburg is a suburb of Richmond and it can be argued that Columbia (if it becomes a future target) is a suburb of Baltimore. If the murderer's true focus is on Michael's, well, Michael's is a national chain.
