Thanks for the kind words Sarmad. I'll agree that it is probably too early to suggest that something really important happened today but I also believe that rallies like this one can go on for quite a while. Maybe... Today despite the big rally not every SOX component was able to score a gain. LSI was actually down. Every other component was up with TER up over 10% on the day: finance.yahoo.com^SOXX+ALTR+AMAT+AMD+BRCM+INTC+KLAC+LLTC+LSCC+LSI+MOT+MU+MXIM+NSM+NVLS+TER+TXN+XLNX&d=t Among the Wennerstrom Semi Equips there were three stocks down but there were gains as high as 31% for low priced issue TGAL: finance.yahoo.com^SOXX+QQQ&d=t What GE has to say tomorrow morning will make a big difference for tomorrow's trading. Longer term until the Iraq situation is resolved I'm going to try to keep my trading account liquid. RtS
