I can see your long term curiosity, but you're the one prejudging... I've not recoiled, but for you to ask whether God is a male of female is a childish question... you must be smarter than to ask such a question... it may well be that an Internet thread is not the place for these types of discussions, but I still think it can certainly be attempted... The proof for the existence of God has everything to do with your own life... you're the one who recoils at this idea... I certainly am not going to make quote references from any bible because I don't believe any of that crap either... if God were only the stuff in bibles, then there is little wonder why such a discussion has taken a back seat these days to other kinds of issues... I'll begin by telling you that God is not religious, there are no religions created by God, regional groups invent their own mythology to satisfy their spiritual thirst, and for good reason... God has no sex, He Created sex, and He didn't Create Himself... GZ
