I get the feeling that at some point soon this is just going to stop and the cops will be nowhere in trying to figure it out. Then a month or a year from now it will start again. Catching this guy may require a lot of luck.

I think at this point the sniper is not a dumb as we might think they are. I am thinking this is pretty well calculated behavior, with random settings. Either that or they have been damn lucky, <in their own eyes that is>
