We don't have to catch Saddam in a lie to prove he can't be trusted, he's already been caught - numerous times.

Yeah.. but the global population of "Joe6packs" have to be reminded (or informed since most don't pay attention to FA)

So we go through the exercise all over again because we let Saddam off easy the first time around.

Either way, Saddam will then be free to once again seek WMD when the inspectors are gone. The only way to be (reasonably) sure Iraq will be disarmed and remain disarmed is to bury Saddam Hussein.

The inspectors will be there for years, even if they don't find anything... We know they have some 8 tonnes of Anthrax production that hasn't been accounted for..

Btw, did anyone catch the epsisode about Saddam on Frontline last night?? Well done and gave some good descriptions of how he maintains power.
