Bush, Rummy, Wolfowitz, Perle all want to attack with or without allies otherwise known as "unilateral". It was only earlier this week that Bush mentioned "allies" who it turns out want a big piece of the Iraq pie.
Here are some references to Bush's "unilateral" stance.

In his speech the other evening, President Bush said we will act with "our allies at our side". Russia will join the fray if they get what they demand. (I wonder what the Baghdad wall will look like). Israel is velcroed to the US and jonesing for this conflict. Blair has committed a reluctant gaggle of effete Brits.
Pres. Bush...If we have to act, we will take every precaution that is possible. We will plan carefully - we will act with the full power of the United States Military - we will act with allies at our side - and we will prevail.
