As anyone following the markets these past few months can tell you, markets go down whenever W. Bush makes a speech on TV. I don't know if this his ears, warm personality, or wrinkled forehead. Or maybe it is because he often talks of imminent war, but I remember markets showed this behaviour even back when he was only saying "We are not in recession, we expect economic revival in 2nd half of 2002".

So there might be some truth to that expression "The markets do not like crazy cowboys" imho.
