It's a little early yet for a definitive answer to the question of "has G. W. Bush recorded good economic results during his administration".

Afterall, we are just heading toward the 2 year mark for his team.

But his daddy's 4 years recorded some of the worst economic numbers in America since WW II (and that was after 8 years of Reagan... hard to blame any of that on Clinton :)

Young Bush Jr.'s first 2 years - so far - look like a replay of his Daddy's first two years... which is hardly an auspicious start. In fact, it looks pretty much like a mirror image (even the Presidential popularity numbers equate!)

After four years we'll have an answer for the history books, and if reelected, his eight years will go down in the books at that time.

At some point during his term(s)... the public will credit him with the economy's performance - good or bad - and at that point he will have to accept that judgement: the 'buck' will stop there... no more passing of the responsibility will be accepted.

Time will tell when that point is reached....
