You do wonder where the money keeps coming from.

I have left a few thousand dollars (just through inertia) in what was originally a gold fund and morphed into a stock fund, and I was somewhat shocked when the statement came and it was down something like 20% in the last three months. I can't imagine that all these folks with mutual funds, 401Ks amd IRAs are going to feel like putting more money into them, and the minute there is some cautionary selling the 5% average cash balalnces in the mutual funds will vanish and there will be forced liquidation of stocks. This would have happened four years ago except for Sir Alan.

As we all know.

Makes me glad not to have any short positions (just puts and Prudent Bear) that I can get squeezed out of.
