I think one thing we have learned: every time in history Congress has said they were 'simplifying' the tax code... they only screwed it up more and inserted more loopholes and special favors for their backers.

Run like the dickens whenever they use that word!

It's all, or nothing this time: either gut the old code entirely, and start afresh... or tell them to go to hell, we're not buying that 'simplification' lie anymore.
