But Chinton, what is there in our history that guarantees that the schrub would not include ALL gold, not loopholes like numismatic coins as you describe? Granted here I am posing a hypothetical question standing on the most extreme postition of paranoia

I've spent some time thinking about this too. Finally ended up splitting my gold purchases, 50% 1 oz gold eagles and 50% $20 libs and saints.

The problem with this is that you end up with significantly less gold for your money. It's a terrible thing when you can't trust your government. <nfg>
