You realize that competing universities duplicate results- and they LOVE to make scandals for their "adversaries" in academia. I love scientists, but compassionate about another fellows research or mistakes, they are NOT. I have seen too many gloating lectures in which mistakes are gleefully exposed not to know that intercollegiate collusion is a rare thing. You might get people at your own university to collude- but once a study is published, watch out. You may not realize just how competitive scientists are. They make their reputations, in part, by disproving each other.
