I didn't see the program listed on the Frontline Website...

It was supposed to be about military modernization and warfare in the future, but when it actually was a very recent program specifically dealing with Saddam, his biography, and how he rules with a iron hand...

There was an especially chilling clip showing Saddam when he first took power. He was addressing a group of Baathist party officials and opened by stating "There are traitors here amongst us".. And then he proceeded to start reading names on a list, some of whom had been his best friends, and they were escorted out of the room, one by one, never to be seen again...

And afterward, Saddam "wept" in front of the others... And they they showed the "survivors" wiping their brows and moving their lips in prayer, thankful they had survived the "purge"...

Of course, anyone who became too powerful later on knew they would have their name called out sometime in the future.
