Regarding EP - I'm not selling a share until at least $9-10 in my trading account and $15 in my long term account. I've been trying to press the shorts on EP to get the "other side", but to little avail so far. The more I learn about EP, the more I love it at these levels.

Subject 13607

There is a good chance the FERC will rule against them. If so EP may dip again and we may have to wait until next Dec for a D.C court of appeals ruling. See the Credit Suise report on the FERC ruling. Either way it's a great long term hold at these levels.

In many ways EP would be better off paying a couple hundred mil in fines to settle the uncertainty, but they'd want to make sure that any settlement wouldn't open the door to further litigation.

Have to keep telling myself...don't sell...don't sell.

Commander -- <<Finished out my best week in a very long time.>>

Imagine how you will feel when you awake one morning soon, turn on your PC, click on the Oslo Borse and see little PGS selling for above NOK12 after the Atlantis deal closes while you are sleeping. Earlier today, one of the few Y! posters I read and "trust" reaffirmed his prediction from last week:

an interesting day today!

US could wake up on Monday with Atlantis deal signed during Sunday Monday in Abu Dhabi. If its happening I'd expect to see a large volume in Norway as things appear to seep out before news.

With Ramadam only 3 1/2 weeks away for the UAE and that lasts a month, then Xmas for the West comes only 3 weeks after the end of that..., I see only a few windows of opportunity to get this closed this year...then of course the Chinese New Year will take out a month of Q1!

Would make a nice addition to recent news releases and be a welcome start to further releases for Q3, new CEO, a few more cut back releases and finally...with Atlantis sold, I think any bank would be interested in restructuring the remainder of the debt for 2003.

No facts to back up the Atlantis closure, just seems like the ideal opportunity to me.

"NO" in Norway picked up 100,000 in 1st hour of trading!

Come on Moe...lets GO!
