No doubt true....this is the ONLY "debt" I have besides my primary mortgage though. And I'm not even planning on drawing on it until/unless I see an investment opp that is extremely high risk/reward. But your point is well taken, and if someone is already over-leveraged, home eq lines can be a VERY dangerous trap.
