For all the gun experts out there, a question: if these shots are indeed fired at distances of 250-600 yards and some of them have been 'head shots', how much practice would this take for someone who had not had advanced training of some sort a while back? Especially, if someone were actually taking shots from 500-600 yards I would assume they would have had to practice quite a bit to become 'one shot' proficient. Correct assumption or no?

Well, if they have had to practice quite a bit wouldn't a logical place to start looking be at shooting clubs and ranges that offer people these kinds of distances/targets in the D.C. area?
