for those who daren't venture into the CFZ lair, an amusing view of the last two trading days...

“We get this every month don't we. TA freaks now looking for a major breakout move and beginning to bandwagon the up move. Is this kind of a spike into Options Racketeering Week any different from the dozens of other spikes we have witnessed out of deep oversold going into options expiration? Of course it isn't. It is the single most predictable criminal trend in the Market. This is why you never hear anything about it from the Sigmoid Sisters, Becky Quick and Maria B. Its a joke. Happens every month. Usually starts the end of the week before operations are concluded.”

“They should just call it Al Capone Week or Mobster Week or something and have done with it. Its boring. They need to reach maximum pain levels and vaporize all the aggressive put positions bought into the slide. Whats the big drama? Where is the mystery? This month is particularly ejaculatory since it coincides with the widely publicized double bottom call of 775 SPX. They tied a big yellow ribbon around the number, stuck an American flag above it with an arrow pointing North and had Vanna White bend over in a 3 point stance all set to receive randy Bulls once the starter's pistol was triggered.”

"Without a geopolitical 'event' there will be no Market clearing. Those diehard bears camped out waiting longer term may be in for continual frustration. Silva Mind Control bottom picking rules this Market and has since 2000. Too much media cheerleading, too many memories of Oct 98'. So looks like a longer and more difficult bear, a bear in which many will have to continually navigate wild lurches and price spasms. Buyers are utterly bold and maniacal. Shorters are terrified at every turn. Replicant stocks are loose in the streets. Mutants masquerading as real issues and blending in amongst the populace. The BladeRunner Market is alive and well in 2002."

I added to my shorts today. At your convenience, would you post some significant numbers that would negate the retrace scenario. I believe it was 1459 for the comp?

well...it was mentioned to watch for any targets over 1200 that would get a double top breakdown....

we had one friday at 1220....that could be DT to the 1222 top....

above that we had a 1239 top that lead to the big dump...

above that a 1242 t-q 5 top.....

above that a retrace 1269 top....

above that a 1294 225 month ma possible top stop...

above that a 1340 area possible top...thats solely based on the max retrace error to date of a 6% miss off the 1269 top....

and of course retrace major top at 1459.....thats the only one that truely negates the retrace.....
