Eugene, I think Jeff's pet phrase, "Lather, Rinse, Repeat" best describes what I see as the most likely scenario:

Lather up the Bulls today

Rinse the money from their pockets with a quick dip starting Monday afternoon and ending Tuesday.

Repeat, i.e., swing it back up through Max Pain once more, (so the bulls will think that Monday's dipparoo was a "successful retest" of "THE bottom" or some such nonsense), and then start the bleed down to 1000.
