DD,

IB's new trailing stop feature is exactly what we need to apply our 4% trailer to the ONT trades. I haven't yet used it. Perhaps you can write out here the step-by-step procedure for putting in the trailing stop. And can you put in a %age, or must it be a price differential only?

TIA, TC

Thanks Don,I believe these trailing stops would work just as any other stop order with the added benefit of trailing nature. So once price is hit,it becomes market order.Yesterday I did a few trades in KIND,after going long I placed the stop order one $ below the market price, trading was very volatile & got filled at pretty bad price.Let me give you specific my stop was 14.56 got filled at 13.76.I was wondering whether in this situation trailing stop would be any better.
Grateful.
Shamim.
