Thanks for the reply TWNN, points well taken. Even if you buy in the morning just for a daytrade don't be surprised if the underlying instrument goes your way and you find your option lost value.... That was happening to me a lot until I bought an option calculator and did some what-if's. Don't know when I'm going to get to Natenberg's book, I'm presently reading McMillans "Options as a strategic Investment", 4th ed., which has a gazillion pages in it. Thanks again, Dominick
