Give the Hamas their state and help it get off the ground, and then see where they are at. If they are still acting nuts....you nuke 'em and be done with it. Give them their state and they will have a base from which to attack Israel. If Israel nukes them they will become international pariahs and if they attack conventionally they will be portrayed as agressors. Besides the government of the new state will try to maintain deniability. Officially they wont be part of the attack but they will be a safe haven for the attackers. Kind of like the Taliban but Israel can not swing world opinion or defy it as easily as the US can. Tim, give them their own state and they will do just like what the other Arab/Muslim states do......bitch and moan about Israel but will be too smart to take Israel on. The Arabs states know they can't beat Israel conventionally.....past wars have proven that...... and they are not about to nuke her so they will learn to live together and tolerate each other. It won't be like us and Canada but it will be better than it is now. ted
