"GEI only wanted Golden Eagle supporters, and SWW the Geologist(I believe) on site"

sounds reasonable to me... and especially so if it was before they acquired the rights to the additional property surrounding the original concession

I was reading this thread back then and vaguely recall some bits and pieces... but alas, memory, she ain't what she used to be. Whoever said "memory remembers before knowing even wonders" was obviously younger than I

Doug, wow this brings back memories. Just want to clarify one thing, I had asked Guy Murrell (sp?)if I could go on the property and he asked me not too. So the closest I did get to the property was driving through on the public road going to town. I did take some pics from the car. When the CIMA group went to the property to tape and ask questions, I stayed back in town and had some beers which was not too bad of duty.

Guy did set up a meeting in GEs office with Guido, which unfortunatly Guido did not show for.

IMHO, Bill Peterson got the best deal out of the trip, no money out of his pocket, did not produce anything, and got to ride along the Yungos..........
