I had opened a USD account so basically, I do deposit USD.. Although, I think they do provide conversion of CAD to USD if you send them canadian dollar..

I don't worry about and do anything re. exchange risk..

And for tax purposes, all trades are reported in CAD so some times you do end up with a situation specially if it is a buy and hold, where your actual investment might have lost money but you might have end up showing gain because dollar have fluctuated.. But for short term trading that is not much of a problem..
