So Jude Wanniski has added Saddam Hussein to Farrakhan and the Sudanese slave-traders in Christians on his PR customer list. Quibbling over claims over how many Kurds gassed and what he used to kill them in some old conflict.

We say Saddam is a monster, a maniac who gassed his own people, and the world shouldn't tolerate him. But why? Because that's the last argument the U.S. has for going to war with Iraq."

Actually the argument for the US forcing regime change in Iraq is based on Saddam's eventual development of nuclear weapons soon followed predictably by his use of them to control or destroy the rest of the Persian Gulf's oil reserves. The fact that he's a monster who has caused more than 1.5 million deaths so far just underscores the danger the world will face once he gets nukes.
