Market Conditions for Charlotte, North Carolina

realtytimes.com

Our market continues to be soft. A true buyers market. A significant percentage of the listings in our MLS have had at least one price decrease since they initially came on the market. Layoffs or potential layoffs by some of the area's large employers have dampened homebuying enthusiasm. However, continued low interest rates have provided a supply of buyers. The old adage holds true: PRICE, condition and location, location, location will still sell your house.

He ignores calls with "I.D. Unknown"; they may be creditors.

Goodness! I have to do the same thing.

Everytime I carelessly answer a phone call, from an "Out of Area" or "I.D. Unknown" caller, they always turn out to be a telemarketer trying to sell something.

I won't even go into the desperate items sent to my fax line.

As the economy weakens, the quantity and urgency of these calls has increased exponentially.
