thanks very much for the thought dealie. both offspring will be here, plus the boyfriend <g> it should be fun. found this on the net today. the difference between the u.s. thanksgiving and the canadian one. seems like yours is steeped in a little more history and very 'romantic' while the canadian thanksgiving jumps around a little. i guess that's why its not as important in canada. the powers that be keeping changing the reason for it <g> but any old excuse to get the family together is generally a good one. rose
