IMHO great technology will be available to those companies with cash and the skills to pick right and then utilize it sometime during the next 6-12 months as undercapitalized inventors bleed to death. The right timing obviously is impossible to predict. As somebody also commented on this thread, a government intervention could easily change this scenario a lot.
