OK. I just think the market represents decent value here. Not necessarily the buying opp of a lifetime, but there are a lot of fairly solid companies trading at fair multiples of earnings.
The bubble is gone, so now the focus is on stocks that have good fundamentals going forward from here. That eliminates most (but not all) tech issues.
Speculative sentiment is punk, so the focus for now is on the big, liquid issues in the Dow. Personally, I don't think Dow 7,500-8,000 is a screaming buy. Not at all.
But underneath, the damage is so widespread that a person, with a little bit of thought, should be able to make a winning trade or two from these levels.
Just my opinion.
