Early on, on this thread we discussed that the possibility of it being a woman cannot be ruled out, even though it is most unlikely. Personally I think if there is a female involved it is as an accomplice. Bonnie and Clyde would be a good example of the mind set that would include a male/female couple as the assailants.

I think that as a society, we generally think of these types of crimes as only being something a male would carry out. I think as a society we tend to block out the famale Manson' followers and the Andrea Yates of the world.

As for the #3 victim being Indian, if the shooter was targeting black and whites, that victim could have easily been assumed to be black. <at least from the picture in the link>

Clearly there are tons of variables in this case. I am sure such complexities are complicating the job of those trying to solve these crimes.
