I agree that chances are the sniper's a guy. But I hope the cops aren't excluding the possiblity that it's a woman. Disciplined, cautious, uses a light weapon, has access to tarot cards... How about this: all DC/VA/MD area women into occultism, check your Tarot decks for a missing Death card. Lol, not such a bad idea. I'm sure zillions of people have bought tarot cards, fooled around with them for awhile, and then lost interest. Check your closets!! Something else: apparently there's a big target-shooting competition in northern Virginia every year. Most who enter are army guys, but it's open to others as well. A friend of mine competed once. Might make sense for the cops to take a look at who's participated in recent years. But I'm sure they've thought of that.
