That culture of violence will not end until we give up the notions that guns can successfully coexist with us.

The culture of violence exists (to the extent it exists at all which perhaps has been somewhat exagerated) with or without the guns.

Tim, we've gone over and over this issue........at one point you conceded that there might be a basis to the argument; that the violence in our society might be reduced with less guns......but now you forget and back track. As for exaggeration, I am not surprised you see it that way. People will adjust to almost anything over time. When I lived in LA, the violence that existed in that area became the norm. Its only when I went to other places, did I realize how much I had compromised my life.

And it only gets worse........right now, one or two people have an entire metro area of 5 million fearful to get gas. Its really sad how we keep going downhill......the violence worsens with each new act; the bar keeps getting raised, and yet we do very little to change it.

Terrorism comes in many different forms.
