There is a show on MSNBC right now about the ATF and Congress trying to outlaw the 50 calibur rifle.

I agree with everything you said Lee and an excellent rant all in all. The hunting use of firearms is merely a convinient recreational use that the NRA can point to. The real reason to always protect gun rights, and the entire purpose of the second ammendment, is so that the populous can possibly defend itself against the government should it ever become unjust and oppressive. When you here politicians and activists tell that is radical and bizarre then the founding fathers were "wackjobs" also, because they are the ones who put it in the constitution. They were "radicals" and "terrorists" according to the King of England.
